I sure wish we'd begun this blog for our 4 1/2 month Alaska trip in 2007. Maybe when we learn about adding a GoogleMap to trace our travels we might just go back & put Alaska in anyway.

g forward to buying a new trailer this autumn in Indiana.We've chosen a Fun Finder X 189 FBR made by Cruiser RV
It's only 7' wide so hopefully we will now able to quit backing into the side of our house & our iron gate. THAT is more than bothersome!The "Kid" was 8 ' wide as most units are & we got tired of tying up traffic on our city street in Hollywood Ca as we needed to back it in , uphill, through a narrow iron gate , & between our house & a chain-link fence covered with ivy. There were only about 4 " of space on each side. Yeah, fun...not!
One time it took us 3 hours because of the impatient traffic honking & complaining. We would go around the block & begin all over again! Several times.
The new rig will have a 60" x 80" Queen size bed up front so we will no longer need to do the
"dinette-thing" every night. We will miss our really huge hanging closet but what the heck it seemed like we keep wearing our same favorite clothes anyway.We may or may not end up with this red color...it IS a happy color though!
