Casa Comercio - Alamos, Sonora

Well I didn't know how to preserve this, my old home in Alamos, Mexico so I posted it here
even though I've never finished the blog of our 2012 Canadian Maritime trip. Bad girl, bad girl.
I stopped way back
at Sept 22, 2012, I believe.

The AlamosRealty did such a great job on this video I could not resist trying to preserve it here.
Here's a link to some videos of their other properties for sale; https://www.youtube.com/user/JoelatAlamosRealty

A few changes have been made that I miss. There used to be plants around the fountain, Nasturtium Flowers Nasturtiums growing in Ju's parents' garden. It is better not to pickle the caterpillar!
all the way around & we'd use them as a garnish sometimes at meals. Yes, you can eat them.

Also, there used to be a wet-bar-room with fireplace, right off of the pool but all of the other changes are
for the better. Especially the added air-conditioning.

They forgot to mention the 13 fireplaces !!!  Yes, 13. (Actually maybe 14 now because of the finished room above the garage) There are fireplaces not only in every room, including bathrooms, but in several places outside as well.

It was truly an experience living there mostly for short visits of a few weeks at a time. I think once or twice  we were there for 3 months straight.

We had lovely neighbors & we made many lovely friends from all over the world there. I miss them but not so much the yearly trek down there.
I've no regrets that we sold because now we spend the yearly 3 months or so traveling with our RV.

It's difficult to find time to blog on our trips. The internet connections are not always the best in some of the camps plus we're busy exploring the new areas we travel to.

The Canadian Maritimes as well as Alaska were our most favorite & I really hope I'll be able to finish the Canadian part of the blog. The blog is a wonderful way to preserve our memories.
GET-TO-IT-TRISH !
