The ferry brought us to Caribu on
It was 74 miles from where we got off of the ferry which made a 185 mile day from our Harrington/Charlottetown,
The RV camp advertise high speed WI FI
(don't they all?) so we drove around to find the best signal & requested a
particular site where the signal seemed good& settled in.
We disconnected the trailer & just relaxed watching movies via our SlingBox with the laptop. We had several shows to catch up on & needed to watch & delete from our DVR at home to make room for more of our scheduled shows coming up.
When we're away from home for months at a time it is really nice to have that little piece of home TV to relax with.
I did a little work on loading photos into the laptop & getting them ready for the blog.
We have a big day planned for Tomorrow to the Fortress at Louisbourg. It's on the other side of the island.
It meant LOTS of walking.
They had a bus that would take you from the visitor's center to the edge of the village then there would a lot more walking from the bus arrival point.
In the visitor's center where we bought our tickets (About $15 each) we were told to go downstairs to catch the bus that takes people from the visitor's center to the edge of the village.
The lady that sold us the tickets saw me wince at the word "downstairs" & then when I asked if there were an elevator she noticed that I was carrying my cane-chair. She told us that we could take our car on the employee's road & park behind one of the buildings closer to the village/fort. OMG!....too good to be true.
There were things going on all over the village. Indoors & outdoors. We were given a one sheet schedule of what would be happening through the day.
The pictures & slideshows below will most likely tell it better than I ever could.
A little dance-o-the-times below is one of the programs going on inside one of the buildings of this beautifully restored & rebuild fort & village.
Late in the day about an hour before closing things came even more alive down at the waterfront.
This next video will be the first time I was able to add music. It took me FOREVER to get it to work but lets hope it actually works when I publish this now.
&##$#@*%%$%#@ anyhow!!!
Well, it didn't work & the movie was GREAT , if I don't say so myself. I'm thinking this page already has used too much memory or SOMETHING.....so I will just post this the way it is & try to add the movie with music in another post.

It was way larger than we expected. We didn't even arrive there until about 1pm.
