Arrived here early because it was only about a 40 min drive from Henderson Nv, if that.
We decided to try Sam's Town Boulder Hwy (not the Sam's Town Nellis Rd ) It has been voted best Vegas RV park by some group anyway, I see why. As a Sam's Club member (no relation to the park) the rate including taxes, for full hookup is $25 & change! It is a beautiful park and only 15 minutes from the shows. We're paid for through Sunday night but will probably stay longer than the 4 nights booked.
This RV camp uses an outside vendor for WI FI , $5.95 24hrs or $19.99 for a week. I paid for a week. We're able to watch our slingbox recorded things from home on our DVR with this good server.
Oh, there was another unable to find geocache here. I guess the first five were just lucky.
We will definitely stay here next time we come to Vegas.
This RVing life is so much fun. We're all so lucky, I think!
We had planned to go home from here but now there's a possibility that we will spend a couple of nights in Havasu City.
We'll spend at least one night in Palm Springs where I have a girlfriend that used to live next door to me in Holllywood, Hadwig, & I haven't seen here in several years.
My problem is only with choices here for shows.. HA.
Cher will be here beginning Monday the 19th & Bette Midler is here & then there's Neil Sedaka. No tickets yet except for the "So You Think You Can Dance" show tonight.
The Sedaka show not pricy but the other 2 are , however, we're seriously considering it anyway...can't take it with u! Right!.
Oh yes...then there's a new Cirque show at the Wynn. No decisions today....yet.
Joey's wiping down the rig, we have now named "The Shoe Box" thanks to our French friends Jean-Marie & Francoise & I'm doing hair etc...relaxing.
PS We're both feeling much better & I'm sure the worst of the colds are over.
PPSS Weather turning colder here, tomorrow , Sumday expected to only reach a high of 59...windy too.
