Bottle Houses Day Trip

http://www.bottlehouses.com/about.cfm
"Over 25 000 recycled bottles ingeniously cemented together to create the Bottle Houses,"
We enjoyed this day trip after yesterday's rain.
Today was beautiful & this "Bottle House" was a good drive on PEI & there were other things to see in route too & I'll post them after the bottle house slideshow below.

After about one & 1/2 hrs @the Bottle House we had an Acadian meal  in Abram-Village. "Acadians" are descendants of an early group of French settlers in the early 1600's that were kicked out by the British in the late 1600's & 1700's.
"The Acadians are the descendants of the 17th-century French colonists who settled in Acadia, a colony of New France."
Another reason for the dislikes between the two countries we hear about from time to time even today.

In the last part of this day trip we ran across this cathedral in the middle of nowhere.
